They met at a gas station, but not formally. Charlie knew who Rachel was, but Rachel did not know Charlie. Charlie saw her from across the store and then did a double take, just to make sure that it was her. He watched her from across the store for a short time, then he moved so that he could get the perfect angle and took a selfie with her in the background.
Rachel saw him but thought he was just another guy. She noticed him but didn’t think much about him, except that he seemed to be watching her. She hurriedly got what she needed and got into her car and left. Later on, her brother Ethan called her. He asked her about the guy at the gas station in the gray shirt. That guy at the gas station was her brother’s friend and her future husband.
These two are so much fun to be around and Rachel’s laughter is contagious. Rachel would tell a joke or make a comment then laugh Charlie would look at her and after a few seconds let out a little laugh of his own.
I love how we are placed at the right spot at exactly the right time. You may feel like you aren’t in the right spot or that you should be doing something else, but the timing is always perfect. Don’t just take my word for it, but their love story as well.
