KANSAS CITY LDS TEMPLE WEDDING | Taylor + Destini

Couple getting married in Kansas City

It was a morning in the middle of June, at the LDS Temple in Kansas City, Missouri,  the nerves were high and the anticipation was even higher. Taylor walked up the long sidewalk and waited for what felt like an eternity for his soon-to-be wife to meet him for their first look. After much anticipation, Destini walked up behind him and slowly made her way toward Taylor. Then she reached out and tapped him on the shoulder.

The LDS Temple in Kansas City is breathtaking. The temple itself is gorgeous, but paired with the landscaping it is breathtaking.

Taylor and Destini are two people that RADIATE joy and love. Being around them is contagious. Pair them with their families and it was a day of absolute happiness and smiling from ear to ear all day. Being able to be a part of their love story for a day was fun and memorable.

Following Taylor and Destini’s sealing at the LDS temple their family and friends joined them for a luncheon. At the luncheon both Taylor’s father and Destini’s father gave heartfelt speeches about them as individuals and as a couple. I didn’t shed a tear but I may have gotten teary eyed.

Following the luncheon everyone joined together to celebrate the newly wed Mr. & Mrs. Hacking for a wedding reception. The reception was filled with dancing, laughter and a few inside jokes were shared by the wedding party. Scroll through the blog pictures to get a look at their gorgeous cake and cupcakes.

Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Hacking! Here’s to a forever filled with laughter, love and many new adventures!
