As a photographer, every session brings its own unique charm and story to tell. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a 6-month portrait session. The themes? 80s big hair and “beary loved” — a perfect blend of retro 80s and adorable cuddles.
Dressed in the tiniest and cutues, 80s themed outfit, Karson rocked the 80s big hair look and his air guitar skills would make any band member jealous. Even though I didn’t experience the 80s myself, I felt like I was getting a taste of them during his session.
The “beary loved” theme brought a different kind of warmth to the shoot. Surrounded by cuddly teddy bears of all sizes, Karson smiled at them and played with the bears during his session. He also had the cutest onsie for his bear themed portion of his session.
Throughout the session, I focused on capturing all of Karson’s personality. From infectious smiles to curious stares. As a photographer, these sessions remind me of why I love what I do. It’s not just about taking pictures; it’s about weaving together memories that families will treasure forever. Seeing the joy on parents’ faces as they watched their little ones and freezing this time to look back on for many years to come.
