Yingst Family | KS Sunflower Field Family Session

Mackenzie play on the school athletic teams when I was in elementary and grade school. I also remember Mackenzie’s parents cheering on her brother Dustin aka “Buddy” at every football game from middle school to high school. If you went to Skyline at the same time as me, then you know that I am talking about

AJ & Taylor | Summertime Kansas Engagement Session

AJ & Taylor were both track & field athletes at McPherson college. If you know me very well, then I’m sure you aren’t surprised that I immediately went into track & field talk with them. At McPherson, AJ pole vaulted and Taylor ran cross country and distance during the track season. I have so much respect for athletes in both of these event categories!

Taylor | Kansas Maternity Session

Having a sister means that they do a lot for you, and I mean a lot! Taylor has been my go to model ever since I started photography. With her being my model that means she has been through every stage with me. The beginning, when I was just starting to learn how to use a camera, the advanced beginning where I knew how to use a camera but didn’t know how to pose and the current stage, where I now know all of the above.

Backyard Country Wedding | Levi and Rebekah | Wichita Wedding Photographer

If you have never attended a backyard wedding, where the backyard is a pasture, I highly recommend it. Rebekah and Levi’s wedding was such a small intimate wedding. Their guests gathered around them as Levi’s father married them. Rebekah and Levi wrote their own vows and it was so sweet and heartfelt. Couples writing their own vows is one of my favorite aspects.

White Barn Wedding in Western Kansas | Shelby & Logan

She tickled him and she laughed. He tried to resist laughing, but he couldn’t. She kept tickling him until he let out a laugh that he could not control. They held hands and walked down the road, looking at each other and smiling. As they walked, the sun was setting on their fairytale wedding day.

Shelby & Logan | Country Engagement

When Shelby and Logan first ā€œmetā€ they didn’t meet in person, instead they met via a social media platform. It started with Logan adding Shelby on Snapchat and she was not for sure who he was. However, she added him back. They began talking back and forth. He eventually asked her to be his girlfriend.

Katherine & Layton | High School Sweethearts

It all started in the Home Economics room their sophomore year, the teacher assigned them to seat near each other. Katherine had her eye on Layton for quite some time leading up to this, however she still wasn’t completely sure what his name was. Layton would slyly tease her, and Katherine fired right back at him. When it came to who would ask who out, it almost turned into a game. Katherine told Layton’s friends he needed to ask her out, but he told them no. She finally turned around in band class one day and said ā€œLayton! Will you go out with me?ā€. Their individual personalities show through in their relationship, but so does their love and teamwork.

Kadie & Denton | Engagement Session

It was a fall day, they were standing in the midst of a tall cornfield off a dirt road. The sun was setting and the beginning of a sunset was visible through the corn stalks. Kadie whispered into Denton’s ear and she instantly let out a laugh. Not a small laugh, but a giant genuineContinue reading “Kadie & Denton | Engagement Session”
