Courtney gave me the opportunity to follow her around and help her document her senior year. We started our journey the summer before her senior year. We started off with a few senior sessions. In the fall we moved on to basketball and another dreamy session in the park. Fall is one of my favorite times to take pictures, the leaves are golden and orange, and the temperature is getting cooler. We finished up in the spring with prom and graduation. Even though we did not get in a winter session, prom made up for it. On the day of prom it was cold and rainy, but it sure was worth it. I enjoyed working with Courtney and being able to help her document this special time in her life. After all, you only graduate from high school once. Every idea that I had Courtney went along with it (sometimes with a skeptical look). I asked her to do some funny things, but she trusted me and her portraits turned out AMAZING. I just kept telling her trust me you’ll love the result.
I could not have asked for a better first senior representative. In the fall she will be attending Pratt Community College. This summer she is busy! She has a job, she works out and she still makes time for friends and family.
Courtney, I wish you the very best and I am so glad that I had this opportunity to work with you and become even better friends. I cannot wait to cheer you on in all that you do. I know that you will set your goals high and knock down each and every one of them.
