What fuels your fire?
What are you passionate about?
Why do you do what you do everyday?
What drives you to get better and be a better version of yourself?
These are all questions that I have asked myself, multiple times. I’ve even been asked these questions by my friends and professors. It makes me wonder. Why do we do what we do? Especially if we don’t enjoy it. We hear how people are unhappy with their jobs or that they don’t like it. Why would we put ourselves through that everyday? Why do we settle and let ourselves be unhappy day after day. We have a certain amount of days, so shouldn’t we make each of them count and be as happy as we can?
I love capturing people and their emotions, especially the emotions of love and joy. I love seeing people being happy. There are times in life that cannot be duplicated and that only happen once. I believe that it is so important to capture these moments to hold on to forever. Whether it is your wedding day or your senior year, the moments go by so fast and before you know it it is gone in a blur.
When I first started photography I remember thinking how I wanted to photograph landscapes and animals. I did for awhile, but there was still an itch that couldn’t be scratched. Then I started photographing people and I was absolutely hooked. I love meeting people and learning about them. I love learning their passions and their whys. I love cheering people on and watching them conquer all their goals and then more.
I want you to set huge goals, goals that scare you so much and make you question if you should even make it a goal. Then make an action plan, and go get it. That’s what I’m doing and I can’t wait to look back and see how far I’ve made it.
