The cold windy Kansas weather almost doesn’t matter when you are photographing such fun people! I know it doesn’t look that cold in the photos, but behind the scenes everyone was wrapped up in blankets and standing in a tight circle. I think the phrase “It wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the wind” came up many many times. I feel like this is the most Kansas saying that there is. Despite the cold weather we still laughed and had fun (even though our fingers felt frozen).
