She waded knee deep through the pond, splashed through the creek wearing a beautiful floor length dress, danced around outside barefoot, and trekked up to the top of a hill where the eye could see for miles. If it is fun and adventurous she can be found there with a giant smile on her face.
Lucy asked me if we could take portraits in the water, at that moment I knew that she would be up for all of my ideas (even walking in a pond in jeans). Looking back through her gallery, she excelled at it. Every single idea. She is adventurous and so joyful, she sees something new and exciting and conquers it without batting an eye.
We laughed and smiled so much that at the end of the evening, my face was tired. But it was the kind of tiredness that you feel after an adventure, not the tiredness that you feel after an exhausting day.
When I asked Lucy what her plans are after she graduates she told me that she wants to pursue a nursing career. I was not at all surprised. From her compassion, smile, graciousness, and positive attitude she has all the qualities of someone that cares deeply for themselves and others. I know that Lucy will do amazing on whatever adventure she takes. She has a go-getter mindset, positive attitude, and a smile that can conquer the world.
Lucy picked out the perfect location between Pratt and Greensburg for her senior portraits. This location holds special value to her because it is her family friends property and she has spent many days there. I think that it is so special being able to pick a location that has sentimental value to you.
P.S. I would let Lucy style me any day, her outfit choices were absolutely perfect.
