Tia and Trevor’s engagement session came straight out of a country song. There was the cowboy, cowgirl, horses, Kansas prairie, and lots of love and laughter. They brought their horses along for their engagement session and the horses decided to add a few laughs of their own (which made for some great pictures). At one point Ms. Tequila, decided to snuggle up with Trevor and Tia when they were snuggling together.

Kansas Vineyard Engagement Session
They looked at each other, and she laughed. Her laugh was joyful and sweet, the kind of laugh that you laugh when you are with someone that you truly love and cherish. After the laughter escaped her she looked at him and said “Stop it!!” while letting out a hint of a laugh again. Watching the sunrise with the very first rays of sun falling on their faces and warming up their nose and ears. It was as if all the wildlife and trees were watching them and admiring their love for one another. She smiled down at the ground, it was as if they were the only two within miles.
Adventurous Southern Kansas Senior Session
She waded knee deep through the pond, splashed through the creek wearing a beautiful floor length dress, danced around outside barefoot, and trekked up to the top of a hill where the eye could see for miles. If it is fun and adventurous she can be found there with a giant smile on her face.
2020 Senior Representative Announcement
Each year I say that I have the best clients, and each year I am right! I love the creativity, fun, and energy that everyone brings to their sessions (yes even the teenage boys during family portraits).
Shelby & Logan | Country Engagement
When Shelby and Logan first “met” they didn’t meet in person, instead they met via a social media platform. It started with Logan adding Shelby on Snapchat and she was not for sure who he was. However, she added him back. They began talking back and forth. He eventually asked her to be his girlfriend.
Panya & Michaela | Headshots
Many times when people think of headshots they think of boring and unoriginal. This session was the complete opposite. We climbed stairs (that we weren’t supposed to), avoided the sprinklers with leaps and bounds, and almost got swept away by the wind. Panya and Michaela are auditioning for a musical performance and I am so so glad they chose me to capture their personalities during their session! If you don’t know these two then you are missing out. They are so musically talented and an absolute joy to be around.
Savana & Payton | PHS Class of 2019
Graduation sessions are bitter sweet. It is the end of one chapter, but the beginning of another. I love being able to look back and reflect on their accomplishments and cheer them on. When Savana asked me to do a graduation session, I could hardly believe that Savana, my little cousin would be graduating in a few short days. Where in the world did the school year go?
Charlie & Rachel | Country Engagement Session
They met at a gas station, but not formally. Charlie knew who Rachel was, but Rachel did not know Charlie. Charlie saw her from across the store and then did a double-take, just to make sure that it was her. He watched her from across the store for a short time, then he moved so that he could get the perfect angle and took a selfie with her in the background.
Katherine & Layton | High School Sweethearts
It all started in the Home Economics room their sophomore year, the teacher assigned them to seat near each other. Katherine had her eye on Layton for quite some time leading up to this, however she still wasn’t completely sure what his name was. Layton would slyly tease her, and Katherine fired right back at him. When it came to who would ask who out, it almost turned into a game. Katherine told Layton’s friends he needed to ask her out, but he told them no. She finally turned around in band class one day and said “Layton! Will you go out with me?”. Their individual personalities show through in their relationship, but so does their love and teamwork.
Shelby | Senior Portraits
She walked up with her hair blowing in the breeze and a thoughtful look on her face as she looked off into the distance. The fall sunlight fell perfectly on her face and then she let out a laugh. Timid at first, but it soon turned into a full on laugh with a big smile.
