She pulled up in an old pickup truck, not a care in the world with the wind in her hair. Green flannel shirt, blue jeans, red lipstick and a hand tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She looked like she had just walked out of a country song.

Erik walked out in a white suit with black trim and an orange vest. In the midst of the park walkers and joggers turned to see what the special occasion was. To them it was just another normal day, another lap around, another mile through the same park. But to Erik, it was not a normal day, it was far from it. It was his first senior night, his first fall homecoming as a senior and it was his senior pictures. As the sun was beginning to set one journey was slowly coming to an end.
